Australian actress Rebel Wilson was in Cape Town in August to film Grimsby. Wilson's tweets and photos show that she had a fantastic time in South Africa and even managed to pick up the word Afrikaans word 'lekker' which, in this context, is colloquially used to mean 'fun' or 'great'.

While in Cape Town, she also had some 'amazing seafood'.

United States-born actor/director Blair Underwood was also in South Africa in August, and not for the first time. The actor seems to love this country and has done some humanitarian work here. The photos he shared are from a number of KwaZulu-Natal attractions.
He spent some time at uShaka Sea World – an aquarium in Durban, where he got to meet this dolphin (below). If you decide to visit uShaka Sea World, you can also exploreuShaka Marine World, a marine theme park near the aquarium.
His visit included a trip to a local school where he gave a talk. He also went on a safari and experienced traditional Zulu dancers at Phezulu Safari Park.

We love that he also spent some time in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, where he visited a cheese factory and deli, as well as the Mandela Capture Site near Howick.
US-born actors Kimberly Elise and Loretta Devine, along with Canadian actor and sportsman Rick Fox and Haitian-born actress Garcelle Beauvais, were also in Cape Town in July to film Back to School Mom. They all really got to #MeetSouthAfrica by exploring some of the city's wonderful offerings.
In the caption for the photo below taken at Cape Point, Elise writes '#TBT only a few weeks ago I was standing in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Still takes my breath away...'
Beauvais described the view from the top of Table Mountain as 'incredible':
Beauvais looked beautiful with her traditional make-up. A local restaurant chain called Moyo serves traditional African food and has staff members walking around painting beautiful designs on the faces of those interested; it was at Moyo that Beauvais her face painted.
She also took part in a djembe drumming lesson.
Rick Fox, who is also a retired professional basketball player who played with NBA team the LA Lakers, is an avid sports fan and we love that he took the time to watch a Stormers vs Bulls rugby match.
British celebrity and UN Goodwill Ambassador Victoria Beckham was in South Africa in October with UNAIDS and the Elton John AIDS Foundation. This is not the former Spice Girls singer's first time in South Africa either. We love this photo of her looking fabulous while painting graffiti in Soweto.

US-born actor Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame was in Cape Town in September with a group of friends for a trip that Samantha Marq, a friend on the trip, describes as 'the trip of a lifetime' in the caption for the photo of the group of friends at Cape Point. They look like they had a fantastic time and shared these wonderful photos:
